MyRx Manager app for iPhone and iPad

MyRX was conceived and designed by a young mother being treated for an aggressive form of breast cancer. She needed an easy way to keep track of her medications and their side effects, including her chemotherapy.

Since she carried her iPhone with her wherever she went, she would always have an up-to-date copy of her medication history with her in case of emergency, one that was easily emailed to whoever needed it.

She wanted to make this app available to all others who needed a simple way to track medications, especially those who are experiencing temporary mental slow down often called “ chemo brain.”

She deeply believed each person must advocate for her or his health – this app is designed to empower all users to have a stronger voice in their healthcare. Her wish was for any profits generated from MyRX to support breast cancer research.

And so, in memory of Adelea Ibsen and her brave fight for life, MyRX is now offered to the public.

Initially designed for those receiving cancer treatment, MyRX is valuable for anyone taking medication or keeping track of family medications.

Quick and easy input of medication, dosage, frequency, start and end dates, with a place to list side effects and an area for notes.

Multi-person profiles keep track of medicines for you and your family. Separate profiles for each family member.

Each person’s medication list can be emailed to a doctor or hospital directly from the app.

Once entered, each medication has a link to Drugs.mobi for easy research (research tip: enter drug exactly as written on your prescription, or go directly to Drugs.mobi for spelling prompts).
